July 2008 – Geo. M. Martin Company acquires Systematic Machinery, making Geo. M. Martin the sole “single source manufacturer” of nicked bundle line equipment in North America . Systematic was the recognized industry leader in Nicked Bundle Rotators, Inverters, Doublers, and specialty machinery.

July 2008 – Pozi-Level System for all Geo. Martin Rotary Die Cut Stackers is introduced.  For use on all bundling applications, the Pozi-Level System ensures that all bundles are dropped from the accumulator in an even and level manner. Totally automatic, the system self checks on the first bundle drop, and adjusts to the new order by the second bundle’s completion. Available as a retrofit.

 June 2008 – Geo. M. Martin Company sells its 67th Quik-Break Separator System, complete with new Rotary Die Cut Stacker, Bundle Takeaway System, QBII Separator, and full Martin Bundle Conveyor System.

 May 2008 – Phil Timms joins Geo. M. Martin Company as their Midwest Regional Manager.  Based in Columbus Ohio , Timms has sold capital equipment for over 10 years, and will cover WI, IL, IN, OH, MI, KY and western PA for Geo. Martin.  Phil can be reached at 614-329-7445.

 April 2008 – Geo. M. Martin Company’s Quik-Box Program is now a standard feature of all Martin QBII Nicked Bundle Separator Systems. Quik-Box is a simulation system that allows the converter to enter box size, outs and ups at the stacker and see the effect on production at each machine within the separator system. By further adjustments, a “net operating speed/performance expectation” can be quickly known.
