The Martin Cutoff Knife uses low inertia shafts and helical knife blades for cutting single wall, double wall and triple wall corrugated board as well as solid fiber. Its unique shearing action results in a clean "scissors-like" cut with minimal energy usage.

Manufactured in widths of 90" (2286 MM), 100" (2540 MM) and 110" (2794 MM), the Martin Cutoff Knife is well known for the cutting of heavyweight board, high performance, and unmatched reliability. Narrow in width, the Cutoff Knife occupies just 39" (991 MM) of in-machine-direction space, allowing maximum flexibility in placing other dry end components for high-speed order changes.

Compatible with all Automatic Slitter Scorers, Downstacking and Upstacking Takeoff systems, the Geo. M. Martin Company Direct Drive Cutoff Knife can fit into any corrugator known and is easily integrated with all single point order entry systems.

Optional Features include:  

- Vacuum Infeed/Exit Systems, offers high speed tail-outs with highly accurate cutting of sheets, regardless of board combinations and the number of outs being run on each level. As pull rolls have been removed, "crush" of the flutes has been eliminated.

-Vacuum Infeed System (only), results in faster and more accurate tail-outs, and eliminates one set of pull rolls. Infeed System fits within existing web table with no relocation of the knife needed.
